Project Status February 14, 2024

Progress on construction of the new Parker Pump Station was significantly impacted by the rain event that took place on January 22, 2024. Since that time, Filanc has been assisting the City in recovery efforts and has implemented a complete bypass of the storm water system, while the City works to repair the existing storm water pumps which were damaged during the storm.

The bypass system was designed and installed within a week to prepare for the subsequent storm – a remarkable accomplishment given the layout of the site and the pump capacity needed (36,000 gallons per minute). Work on storm water pump repairs is currently on track to be completed in early March 2024 (or sooner) and will allow Filanc to return to “normal” construction operations.
