You’ve got sunny skies, sparkling sands of Coronado Beach and Orange Avenue lined with beautiful lit Christmas trees. The annual Coronado Holiday Parade is scheduled for Friday, December 2 and Santa will unveil new lights on Coronado's iconic holiday tree at Rotary Plaza. There is Skating by the Sea in the shadow of the historic Hotel del Coronado, several options for holiday shopping, and a full month of concerts, performances and lectures celebrating the season. Truly, there is no place like Coronado for the holidays. Wishing everyone a magical holiday season!

Join the library in the holiday parade this year! Bring a box (or use one of ours) and the library will provide the supplies to turn your box into a train car! You’re invited to Small Business Saturday, November 26, where you can support CHA's store. Coronado MainStreet will be distributing Passports and participants can enter to win $250, $100, or $50 in Coronado Currency. Dec. 1-15 | Letters to Santa | Coronado Community Center

The elves are dropping off Santa's mailbox on Dec. 1 through Dec. 15. You are invited to drop your Letter to Santa off in the magical "North Pole Express Mailbox," located at the Coronado Community Center. All letters will be directly routed to Santa, and he will be sure to respond. CORONADO COMMUNITY CENTER



Friday, Dec. 2 | Coronado Holiday Parade | Downtown Coronado | 5 - 8:30 p.m.

Kick off the holiday season with the traditional annual lighting of the civic holiday tree and menorah at Coronado Rotary Plaza in conjunction with the annual Coronado Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade and Open House. The community is invited to the pre-parade Open House for holiday shopping. CORONADO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Saturday, Dec. 10 | Breakfast with Santa | Community Center Nautilus Room | 9 a.m.

Breakfast with Santa is set for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10. Breakfast with Santa includes a French toast station, scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit kabobs, juice, coffee and tea. Children will create holiday crafts, spin the prize wheel, enjoy a visit from Santa Claus and other holiday characters. This is a great opportunity to get your family photos with Santa. Sunday, Dec. 11 | Ride the Lights | Spreckels Park | 4:45 p.m.

Ride the Lights is set for Sunday, Dec. 11. Meet at Spreckels Park for the 4:45 p.m. ride. Make sure you have night lights and helmets. Enjoy cookies, cocoa and other holiday festivities after the ride. Brought to you by Coronado's Mobility Commission. Don't forget to decorate your bike for the 2.9-mile route. Rain will cancel this event.

The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is a time-honored holiday tradition brought to San Diego by the boating community. Continuing its long-standing San Diego tradition, the 52nd annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights promises to dazzle and entertain Bayfront crowds during 2 evenings on December 11 and December 18, 2022. He’s coming to town! Santa Claus returns for the 93rd year of traditional visits to Coronado homes on Christmas Eve, Saturday December 24 to deliver presents to local girls and boys from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Assisted by members of the Rotary Club of Coronado, Chase Bank and the Coronado Fire Department, Jolly Old St Nicholas asks parents, grandparents or guardians to drop their presents off at Chase Bank, 1000 Orange Avenue beginning Friday December 16 through Thursday December 22. Wrapped presents may be dropped during the hours of Noon to 5:00 p.m. Friday-Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm on Saturday.

Saturday, Dec. 17 | After-Hours Concert with Musica Vitale: Chantons Noel | Library Foyer | 7:30 p.m.
